The harsh, biting chill of winterlike weather will continue to sweep across the Minneapolis area into next week, bringing a chance for snow flurries each day.
Highs for Wednesday will remain around 25 F, before sinking into the low teens overnight. Wind gusts will remain around 8-16 mph.
"An incredible, long-duration cold event will engulf Minneapolis through at least early next week," AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Andy Mussoline said.
Highs will be stuck in the lower 20s on most days, a pattern that is more typical for late December and early January, he added.
While some sunshine may break through the clouds Thursday, snow flurries can be expected during the day with temperatures dropping into the single digits overnight.
Friday will remain sunny, before snow moves in to start the weekend.
