Clouds and the chance for thunderstorms will continue to linger in the Chicago area through the weekend and into the new week.
Monday will feature intervals of clouds and sunshine with a chance for a shower or thunderstorm throughout the day. Highs will near 81 F, with overnight lows in the mid-60s.

The threat for storms will continue into Tuesday due to a slow-moving cold front which is sagging through the Midwest.
The stormy weather conditions could cause weather delays for the three-game series between the Chicago White Sox and Texas Rangers at U.S. Cellular Field beginning Monday at 7:10 p.m. CDT.
